Our bar manager is constantly looking for the next tasty wine.  He loves wine and it really shows here at Barcode.  We started off with only 20 wines on our menu and now have doubled that number with 43 wines for you to choose from, most recently adding 5 new red wines.  One thing great about DC's Favorite Restaurant, Bar and Lounge: Barcode is that we offer many wine deals for our guests.  Tuesdays you can enjoy "HALF OFF" all bottles of wine and for happy hour which is Monday through Friday from 3pm to 7pm and Saturdays from 5pm to 7pm you can enjoy "HALF OFF" all wines by the glass.   So take some notes and stop by Barcode today to taste some of our greatness.  

Pinot Noir - Mark West, California
Pinot Noir - Mark West, California - this Pinot Noir is heavily perfumed wine from Mark west vineyards in sunny California.  This amazing wine has strong floral aromas with hints of strawberries, black cherry, wild red and black berries. The scent is so strong it could be mistaken for a woman’s perfume.  When you first taste this wine you can immediately taste the fruitiness berries with sweetness. All that fruitiness in the beginning fades into tart, medium acidity which becomes more prominent in the finish. From beginning to end one can taste the oak, highlighted by a toasty vanilla flavor. We highly recommend this wine with our Flank steak.  

Zinfandel - Rosenblum, CaliforniaZinfandel - Rosenblum, California - from the cellars of Rosenblum this medium weight zesty sweet wine is from a very famous winery right outside of San Francisco. This stallion has great hints of wild berry, cherries, Mocha, spice and oak.  One will fall in love with its clean and refreshing taste.  Pair this bad boy up with our spicy organic chicken.  

Syrah/ Grenache - Perrin, FranceSyrah/Grenache - Perrin, France - is a silky 50-50 blend of Grenache and Syrah grapes from France. This organic wine aroma of black raspberry, kirsch and dried herbs. This is a full-bodied red showing good dark colors with a rich core of fruit and leathery undertones. We recommend this sweetheart with our three cheese pizza.  

Garnacha - Nita, Priorat SpainGarnacha - Nita, Priorat Spain - this gorgeous palate pleasing gem is dominated with floral and fruity tastes with an elegant finish.  It has a cherry color with a bright purple trim.  You can smell the aromas of ripe red and black fruits.  We recommend this baby with our lamb chops.

Cabernet Sauvignon - Buehler NapaCabernet Sauvignon - Buehler Napa - this award winning Cab sauvignon is from Napa Valley California filled with long lasting tones of black olive, coffee and toasted plum. Well balanced, with an elegant mix of cedary oak, nutmeg, dried currant and mineral notes. This is a full bodied rich wine and it shows it with a barely perceptible tannic edge. We recommend this winner with our Barcode Burger.
