Lobster is on the menu! Our special of the week is a 1 1/4 pound Baked Lobster over a salad of black wild rice, grilled yellow corn, parsley, cherry tomatoes and Balsamic vinaigrette. $21
Maryland Fried Oyster Salad: fried oyster over lettuce, grilled corn, tomatoes, mango and pineapple with a chipotle dressing.
So Many Beers to Choose From
One thing great about Barcode is how BIG we are on beer! We have 12 on draught, 23 bottles and 9 canned beers totaling an impressive 44 beers to choose from. In fact we love beer so much we have some amazing specials on beers that we pass off on to our customers seven days a week. During the work week from Monday till Friday one can get any of our 44 beers for HALF off from 3pm to 7pm. Also, on Sundays and Mondays you can get any of our 23 bottles of beer for half off all day and night. Finally on Saturdays we do half off all beers again from 5pm to 7pm. We understand what its like to be a crazy beer lover at DC’s favorite restaurant bar and lounge: Barcode.
Dale’s Pale Ale (Colorado) Dale’s Pale Ale (Colorado) a beautiful golden color with lots of visible carbonation. The head has a frosty, dense look to it. One will get a pleasant citrus-like alkaline bitterness right away that cut any potential overly sweet elements down to size. This fine Pale has a pine and orange peel smell with some faint of malt in the background. This would go great with our Barcode burger and fries!
Leffe (Belgium)Leffe (Belgium) pours a clear golden color with a huge 4-finger white head that lasts forever. This is a sweeter beer with hints of vanilla, clove, almonds with a citrusy, nice and crisp flavor. We highly recommend you pairing this fine wheat beer with our Atlantic Salmon Fillet.
312 Urban Wheat (Illinois)312 Urban Wheat (Illinois) is a goose island beer which is highly populated with flavor and has a hazy straw color to it. This fine wheat beer has a spicy aroma of cascade hops with a sharp, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body that’s highly refreshing. One would not be shocked to find out that this fine stallion has one multiple awards year after year at the Great American Beer Festival. We recommend you pairing it with grilled meats and roasted vegetables.
Wells Banana Bread Beer (English)Wells Banana Bread Beer (English)is an English Strong Ale beer that has a dark golden color which grabs ones palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented with a smooth aroma of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. This fine ale is a bready malt with a banana spice and a small bit of pumpkin. Mild bitter finish which gives it a unique gimmick taste. This is a great afternoon beer that will pair greatly with our Barcode Salad.
Weihenstephaner Dunkel (Germany)Weihenstephaner Dunkel (Germany) is a very supple, malty and mellow wheat beer. Its harmonious flavour is the great strength of this fine German beer. This fine wheat beer has hints of banana, honey and caramel to it. You can easily taste the fruitiness almost bubble gum flavor with some malt and a little bit of caramel. This would pair fantastically with something with a nice kick to it like our spicy shrimp.Stephanos Birthday Bash feat. Stavento!
We were very excited to play host to Stavento on their US 2012 Winter Tour. The occasion? Managing Partner Stephanos Andreou’s massive birthday bash! The evening was filled with good food, great friends and many, many, MANY drinks!!! It was also great to be able to bring in a live production with a stage, MCs and their DJ.
